BUENOS AIRES PROVINCE: JANUARY
 January
5 – Tornquist – Sierra de la Ventana- Festival of the Wise Men from the
East ( Fiesta de los Reyes Magos ); The Magicians coming down; The
Magicians of the hill; Presentation of the living stable where Jesus
was born; Giving away toys; Fireworks, Shows and Theatre.
 January
5 to Jan. 14 – Necochea – Children National Festival (Fiesta Nacional
del Niño); Inaugural parade with allusive, large coaches and carriages;
Children’s theatre competition “Gold Crown”; “Tallerino” tent with
amusement for children; Entertainment and fast food stalls; 15 theatre
plays free of charge; Orgenized by the Municipal Culture Secretariat.
 January
6 & 7 – Adolfo Alsina – Carhue – Thermal Tourism Festival (Fiesta del
Turismo Termal); Music shows with local and regional artists;
Presentation of aspiring queens; Election of the festival’s queen;
Fireworks; Organized by the Adolfo Alsina Tourism Secretariat.

10 to Jan. 24 – General Pueyrredon – Mar del Plata – Fishing Festival (
Fiesta de los Pescadores ); Artistic shows; Fireworks; Blessing of sea
produce and the art of fishing; Water games; Procession on the streets
of the port; Typical food stalls; election of the queen.

12, 13, & 14 – Puan – Beer Barley National Festival ( Fiesta Nacional
de la Cebada Cervecera ); Mass Celebration; Uncovering of a remembrance
plate; Opening of stalls and grills; beach volley tournament; putting
green tournament; Wind surfing; Institutions and horses parade,
Presenting former festivals queens and aspiring queens; Rodeo; Musical
shows with local and regional groups; Election of the queen; the
festival takes place on the shores of the lake; Organized by the Beer
Barley National Festival Commission.

13 & 14 – Lobos – Sporting Fisherman Festival ( Fiesta del Pescador
Deportivo ); Individual free fishing tournament “biggest tararira
prize”; Different categories; Inter-clubs; Family, ladies and children
fishing; Water activities, Kayak, Canoeing, Sports Competitions, Cycling
and Pedestrian competitions; Crafts and Commercial exhibitions; election
of the queen; Fireworks and shows; Organized by the Lobos fishing Club.
