13, 14, & 15 – Azul – National Honey Festival – Expo Miel Azul –
Exposition; Conferences on technical honey production by specialists
from and national & international organizations; Dinner and election of
the National Honey festival queen; Musical shows.
June 13 & 14 – San Antonio
de
Areco – San Antonio’s Patronal Fiesta; Procession of the image of the
Saint . Anthony of Padua; Liturgical acts; Gaucho parade on horses;
Gaucho skills contest; Musical encounters; Barbecue at the Ricardo
Guiraldes Park; Artisans show; This the oldest celebration in the
neighbourhood since 1730.
June
22 – San Antonio de Areco – Duggan – Local San Juan Bautista fiesta;
Cultural activities and great food ; Country parade, Lunch, exposition
and Duggan artisans’ show; various entertainments and folk dancing;
Saint’s procession and torches; San Juan Bonfire; Burning the dolls.

28 – Elevation of the Cross ( Exaltacion de la Cruz) - Los
Cardales; St John – Shows where fire is the star; Flame thrower;
Balloons being lit in the evenings. Lightning of the Welcoming Sign;
humoristic burning of main subjects; Hundreds of dolls being burnt; main
Bonfire; Potatoes cooked at the central grill; Marathons; Artisans Fair.
