Located opposite the
city´s Museum Centre it was created by Tucuman’s sculptures Lola
Mora. Unveiled in 1903, sculpted in Carrara marble and representing
the mythical birth of Venus escorted by the nymphs. The piece was
sculpted in Rome, is considered one of the most important works of
art in the city and has been declared Historical National Monument.
