SAN BERNARDO
San
Bernardo is known as the city of the Family with modern cafes, discos
and pubs peppering the main avenues like Chiozza and San Bernardo Aves.
and the tree-lined streets. It is joined to Mar de Ajo by the Costanera
Av.; The beaches are narrow and San Bernardo has a nice temperate climate. The
pedestrian J. C. Chiozza Street is a must for a promenade either before
or after a beach day together with a visit to the shops. Night life is
very active and offers many options to visitors of all ages including
theaters and bingos.

La Familia
This
place was created in cooperation between nature and the hand of Man.
There is a most imposing gathering of trees where the artisan fair opens
every summer as well as an amphitheatre which offers circus shows every
day; It is here in these grounds that the Sun & Family Festival takes
place the third week end of December signaling the opening of the summer
season.

Plaza
Don Bosco
This
plaza takes its name after the great teacher of youth San Juan Bosco.
The grove of trees is over 50 years old and has an amusement area for
children built in wood. At the Northwestern corner and after walking 50
meters one comes to the Our Lady of Lujan Grotto with its semi-cupola,
the altar and the image of the Virgin.
Location: Mitre and de la Reduccion Streets.
La
Costa Observatory
It is
located on 2441, Chiozza Av. and offers the possibility of observing all
the planets of the solar system, galaxies, constellations, etc; It has a
small theatre and a censor which measures the level of deterioration of
the ozone layer.
Foundation Museum
There
is a permanent exhibition of photos of the foundation of San Bernardo
and its pioneers. It opens its doors to the public on 2441, San Juan
Street.
