Paleontological
Museum
Set
in this old house from the end of the 19th Century and
founded by amateur paleontologists, this nice museum houses the
pre-history of the zone with a collection of fossil rests of huge
extinguished mammals. The pieces are highly valuable and it counts with
one of only two existing specimens found in Argentina of a fierce
carnivore called Theriodictis platenses. Some other incredible rests
were discovered here of the lazy giants called Lestodontes,a unique find
in Argentina.

Italian
dream (“El Sueño del Tano”)
This
space is full of all kinds of sculptures of people who inspired the
artist, from his family to other personalities of art, music, Politics.
There is also a calendar hydraulic clock marking hours, days and months,
the moon and the astral sign in course with water jets or streams. There
is also a hall where diverse antiques are exhibited, as well as animals,
watches, photo cameras and many other objects.
Opening Hours: Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays after 10.00hs.

“Osvaldo Morresi” Museum – Automobile Museum
The
Museum was started in honour of sportsman Morresi and construction begun
in 1994 supported by companies who sponsored him all his life, fans and
the Municipality of San Pedro. It opened 16 October 1999 with the
presence of prominent Argentine auto racing personalities. Opening
Hours: Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 09.00hs to 12.00hs and from
15.00hs to 20.00hs.

“Fray
Jose Maria Bottaro” Regional Historical Museum
This
museum was founded 10 September 1978 and has 7 halls: Foundation Hall,
Institutional Hall, Military Hall, Central Hall, Depietri Hall, and San
Pedro Life Hall. Open to the General public Mondays to Fridays from
15.00hs to 18.00hs & Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 10.00hs to
12.30hs and 15.00hs to 18.30hs.
