The construction of the temple began in 1734 following the project of the Jesuit architect Andrea Bianchi (the same who planned the Cabildo). The last remodeling took place in 1918. On the front, there is the image of the patron saint of the seamen, whose relics are stored in the temple, brought from the cathedral of Tuy, in Spain. In its interior there should be highlighted the pulpit commissioned by Manuel Belgrano in 1805, the tubular symphonic organ, old statues and oil paintings from the eighteenth century.

It is a traditional mansion from 1880, which once was the residence of the Ezeiza family. It has two floors with several rooms that conduct to a lateral balcony. It retains its original style and currently hosts antique, pictures and souvenir stores.
- Museum of Modern Art of the City Government Av. San Juan 350
It presents exhibitions of contemporary artists in the recycled building
that retains its original architecture from 1918, which formerly belonged to
the cigarette factory "43".
- Museum of the Cinema. Defensa 1220
There is a film library, collections of posters, costumes, photos and
documents.
- Orthodox Russian church of the Holiest Trinidad. Brasil 315.
It was inaugurated in 1904, the original project being from the architect of the Holy Synod of Russia Mihail Preobrazensky, but was directed in Argentina by the architect Alejandro Christophersen. Its style is Moscow's 17th Century. There are five turquoise domes topped by five crosses facing the East.

Defensa, Brasil, Paseo Colón and Martín García.
It is located on a natural gully. In 1857, the Salta merchant José Gregorio
Lezama acquired the property, in which he planted exotic plants and trees.
With the death of Lezama, in 1889, his widow Angela Alzaga sold the property
to the commune.
