SANTA TERESITA
The Beaches
This
is the main attraction, with over 3kms of wide beaches to enjoy sea and
sun as well as the practice of nautical sports and beach sports such as
jet-sky, surf, wind surf, kite surf, volleyball, water bikes, etc.
Costanera
Avenue
This
is a wide promenade between buildings and the beach, giving the great
chance of a walk by the sea, and benches to sit and enjoy the landscape.
Fishing Pier
It was built in 1947 and re-built in 1980.It has 200mts of length and a width of between 1,50 and 3 meters and 3,50 meters of height with night lighting for nocturnal fishing. It is one of the largest in La Costa and there is a fee charged for using it.
Location: Costanera Avenue and 38th Street.
Santa
Maria Caravel
This
is a 95% exact replica of the caravel sailed by Colombus to reach the
Americas emulating that in Barcelona, Spain. The ship has 23metres of
length and 8,50metres of width and a height of 7 meters. It is
completely made of wood, “quebracho hardwood”.
Location: Costanera Avenue between 39th & 40th
Streets.
“Jaguel del Medio” Paseo
This
is a kind of an open air Shopping mall, a great walk in a unique
natural environment with a harmonious wood and the infrastructure
totally integrated to nature. There is a parking lot, children
amusements, a mini-amphitheatre, entertainment area, adult attractions
and public lavatories.
