The Dairy Ball is performed every year in the town of Rivera, Buenos Aires, during the month of April. It is a celebration that takes place on the eve of Labor Day, and already more than 40 edits. It is organized by the Independent Club and riverenses not only attend, but also many visitors from surrounding towns and the rest of the province.
Calls over the years have managed to overcome the 1,500 public. Usually it performed during the 30th of April, on the eve of Labor Day, and has a pre-sale for the event tables. Of course, the most important and central activity of this festival is the dance. Several orchestras and bands from the region are in charge of making people move their bodies throughout the evening.
Another highlight of the evening is the choice of Dairy Queen Festival, accompanied by her first and second princesses. Music and all-night dancing: and near dawn begins to serve the classic coffee with croissants. Sweet tables are installed with all kinds of cakes and treats for the palate, and of course milk is the key feature of the festival.
During the dance draws among all these are done, and many shops and dairy farmers do their part by donating the milk consumed during the event. It is a festival made lung, with the help of the entire town of Rivera.
