To only 45 minutes, crossing the Rio de la Plata, we get to our neighboring country Uruguay, more precisely to Colonia del Sacramento. After our arrival, we will have lunch in a designated restaurant and afterwards, we will visit the city on a tourist bus. This small city invites you to walk and get into its past. Colonia is maybe the oldest city of the country, for its charm and beauty, and for its amazing architecture, it was recently declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. This small town offers small alleys such as Santa Rita, San Gabriel, De los Suspiros around a lighthouse, the great wall that wanted to be Portuguese, Museum of Tiles, Plaza de Toros, City Hall. Those are landmarks in the identity of the city; a must-visit to take your mind off things and enjoy.
