The Craft Beer Festival takes place in the town of Santa Clara del Mar, Buenos Aires, during the month of February. This is an event born in 2000 thanks to a group of brewers producers which together with the former committee to support tourism (CODETUR) and the Municipal Tourism Secretariat decide to make beer the main protagonist of a party provincial.
The production of this drink is one of the strengths of Santa Clara, and there are many artisan producers who devote themselves entirely to the task. During the holiday music events with national artists performed during all days of the festival and when night falls. The cuisine, inevitable companion of beer, including typical German meals and classic Creole cuisine.
Also they abound with fish and seafood dishes in the area. The food can be enjoyed while tasting exquisite craft beers is different for everyone and all made by small brewers who attend each year, both local and from other parts of the province. These activities for adults with games for the kids skills complement each other.
Another attraction is the craft fair, with exhibition and sale of regional products, and also the various exhibitions. No shortage of humor shows, parades and of course: the election of the Queen of the craft beer. The beer garden is installed in the Rotunda of the Old Smuggler, and admission to the event is usually free and open to all attendees.
