Founded in 1907 at the Paseo del Bosque, with a Victorian style, covering 14 hectares; it is inhabited by over 180 exotic and indigenous species. About two thirds of the space is dedicated to the main bio-geographic regions of Argentina, the tropical and sub-tropical Amazon, the Chaco, and the Andean-Patagonian. The rest of the space is reserved for specimens from North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
