Address: Tristan Achaval Rodríguez 1701. Puerto Madero.
It is located at the Escuela de Bellas Artes of Cárcova. The Museo de Calcos y Escultura Comparada was inaugurated in 1928 in a section of the old penthouse, along with the School of Fine Arts named after Ernesto de la Cárcova.
Its exhibits are replicas of works representative of the Sumerian culture until the renaissance, including embossments as well as sculptures.
Its special importance resides in that the majority of them is of first tapping, is to say, many of them were obtained by using a direct mould of the original. The David and Moses of Michelangelo, the Venus de Milo and other outstanding works of the Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Assyrian, Asian and medieval European art can be appreciated here.
