Location: Plaza de Mayo. Montserrat
At the centre of Plaza de Mayo we find the May Pyramid, the first patriotic monument the city of Buenos Aires had.
The first Meeting Commissioned its construction in April 1811 to celebrate the first anniversary of the May Revolution.
It was modified in 1856 by the artist Prilidiano Pueyrredón by building upon the foundations of the original.
