Defensoría del Turista: If you visit the city and suffer some form of abuse or discrimination, contact the Tourist Ombudsman, by calling 4302 7816. You can press charges personally at Avenida Pedro de Mendoza 1835 (Museum of Fine Arts “Benito Quinquela Martin”) in the neighbourhood of La Boca, from Monday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Tourist Police Station: Takes care of complaints made by tourists victims of robbery, crimes, thefts, people who are lost, and misplaced ones. They may assist in the process before embassies or consulates. There are people who speak English, Italian, French, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Japanese.
