Later, in 1987, the brothers Poblet decided to convert the bookseller in a cultural center where new related activities such as musicals and paint samples were made and installed a bar-restaurant that serves as a meeting point, giving way to a new stage that was a historical milestone in the history of Buenos Aires for its originality and design. The cultural level of activities undertaken in 1988 earned the recognition of the Legislature of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, who distinguish it as a Site of Cultural Interest. In 2001, with the death of one of the brothers, Natu Poblet assumes the new administration of the library and gives participation in the society to Horacio Haran.
