This historic house over 100 years, with wood, stables and barns was the starting point of the feat achieved between 1925 and 1928 by the Swiss professor Aime Tschiffily and horses “Gato and Mancha” -born and raised stay- who undertake the journey that united Buenos Aires and New York twenty American countries through a journey of 21,500 kilometers. Currently belongs to the historical heritage of the town and although not serving as stay accommodation, can be visited as a tourist attraction. It is wrapped in a 50-hectare park crossed by paths that cross them a large variety of plant species is observed.
Here visitors can learn about the voyage of global significance and tour the countryside where are buried the adventurous horse and its rider.
Towards the back of the park’s history is present in the pot where the Swiss adventurer finalized details for your journey, leaving the walls of his beloved cartoon horses. There are also stables and sheds where the current owner of the stay continues with the breeding of Creole race.
