The Provincial Potato Festival takes place in the village of Nicanor Otamendi, Buenos Aires, during the month of March. This is an event organized by the Municipality of General Alvarado and has the support of the province of Buenos Aires, which already has the status of provincial and has more than 38 edits.
About 40,000 people visit the festival of potatoes every year.
