Located opposite the city´s Museum Centre. It was created by Tucuman’s sculptures Lola Mora. Unveiled in 1903, sculpted in Carrara marble and representing the mythical birth of Venus escorted by the nymphs.
The true meaning of this sculpture relates to the creation of the ideal of female beauty. The piece was sculpted in Roma.
Nowadays, the sculpture is considered as one of the most important art pieces of the city, which has been declared a National Historical Monument.
