The Plaza 1810 is the main one in Lobos and stands opposite the Our Lady del Carmen church and the Municipal Palace. Built in 1811 with the first design of the pueblo and reformed to look as does know in 1900. The central space for a band was replaced by the Mother Monument in 1980. Amongst other monuments found here are busts of General San Martin, General Peron and Evita, firefighters and Malvinas veterans. There are also beautiful trees such as the two araucarias planted at the beginning of the 20th Century and protected by La Plata University.
