Located by the shores of the River Plate with a surface area of around 10 hectares where one can find 300 botanical species, about 85% of them native and 200 species of birds, 55 of which have their nests here in the special shelter. The protected area houses six well defined botanical communities: Juncal (rushes), Matorral (heath/thicket), Ribereño (of the shores), Sauzal (willows), Ceibal ( ceibos), Pajonal ( tall grasses) and Vegetacion Flotante (floating vegetation).there is a 1,200 metre path going through each one of the aforementioned areas. The ecological reserve offersone of the few opportunities to see the River Plate coast as it must have been originally.

Opening Hours: every day from 09.00hs to 18.00hs, including Holidays. Entry is free of charge. Closed when it rains or during storms.
