Address: Vieytes 1655, Barracas. Buenos Aires.
Phone: (011) 4303-0231
Opening Hours: Everyday from 8:30pm dinner and 10pm tango show.

Located in the old neighborhood of Barracas, this is the largest tanguería of Buenos Aires since it has capacity to serve up to 1500 people simultaneously. The house was created by a family of Italian immigrants, which has been restored again keeping the original architecture that includes vaulted ceilings, iron columns, cobbled floors in red quebracho and details very solid in their structure. From the entrance, elegance and good taste of its refined decoration can be perceived, recreating the essence of those places where tango began to shine in all its glory. Here the tango, is undisputed protagonist and lives in every corner of this house.

From the opening of Señor Tango in 1996, both the house and its owner Fernando Soler have received countless awards. Among other place was declared of parliamentary interest by the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina; of tourist interest by the Secretary of Tourism of the Nation and of cultural interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It was also awarded in Sao Paulo as International Tourist Attraction.

Señor Tango offers local and international cuisine in which textures, flavors and aromas are combinated to achieve the delicacy and good taste of their dishes to the rhythm of two by four.

The show was created, directed and produced by the same Fernando Soler, singer and central figure of the show, which was awarded the Bizz Awards 2005 in Houston, as the Best Tango Musical. A great display of light, color and sound with latest technology in the service of the most dazzling show of tango that has seen, with  more than forty artists on stage and during two hours visitors will traverse the history of our national music from traditional tango orchestrally directed by Master Ernesto Franco, who was first bandoneon player of Juan D’Arienzo (for 21 years) in the golden years of tango Argentino; up to the most contemporary Master Astor Piazzolla hand of the orchestra “Juventango”.

The female gender is present and played by the twins of the tango, Fernanda and Marcela Pereyra; and the Andean Blood group allows us to enjoy his music, hand Coquena Lamas and its band.

A closure with adaptations of “Creole Mass” and the focus of the Evita  rock opera “Don´t cry for me Argentina”, which hit the heart.

For all the above and all you can discover, “Señor Tango” is the most spectacular show in the history of Tango, the appropriate place for an unforgettable evening.
